Pastor Joe & Michelle came to LVC in August of 2018. Pastor Joe has served in Alliance Churches since 2001 in the roles of lead pastor, church planter, assistantpastor, and solo pastor. He has a Bachelor of Ministry from Prairie Bible College, a Masters in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Alliance Theological Seminary. Michelle has a Bachelors in Communication from Southern Connecticut University, and a Masters in Counseling from Liberty University. Joe and Michelle are passionate about communicating God's Word, seeing people walk deeply with Jesus and developing leaders. They have 2 children, Caleb and Leah, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Cookie.
PASTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Pastor Rick and Becky came to LVC in February of 2015. Pastor Rick has served in Alliance churches since 2003 in the roles of associate pastor, youth pastor, and church planter. He has a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministry from Toccoa Falls College, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Crown College, and is currently enrolled in a PhD program at Capital Seminary. Becky is a LPN and Care Manager. She has a heart for helping hurting people and student ministry.
Rick and Becky are passionate about developing kids and teenagers in their faith, helping organizations reach their potential, and having a role in the Holy Spirit's transformational work in peoples lives. They have 3 children, Jake, Josiah, and Hope and 3 animals (a dog, cat, and rabbit).
John and Jenn started attending LVC in August of 2016. John has served in several roles in the Brethren in Christ Church including associate pastor, worship leader, and camp meeting assistant director. He has spent 25 years in public safety, holding both paid and volunteer positions in emergency medical service, fire, and 911 communication organizations. Jenn works as a teaching assistant with special needs students in the Pennridge School District. John and Jenn have four children – Kendall, Maddie, Hannah, and Brennan. The entire family actively participates as a foster family for a local dog rescue organization. They have adopted one (so far) – Clara – and continue to foster many more.
DIRECTOR of STUDENT MINISTRY
Micah grew up in Locust Valley Chapel and is now serving as the Director of Student Ministry. He graduated in 2018 with a degree in Business Marketing at East Stroudsburg University. God changed his plans during college and he responded to God's call to full-time ministry. He is currently attending Capital Seminary working on his Master of Divinity degree in pastoral studies.
Micah is passionate about helping people understand God's Word and the good news that Jesus died in our place and rose again. He enjoys spending time with youth and developingrelationships to speak into their lives and walk alongside them as they learn what it means to follow Jesus.
